For whatever reason Canada's RAZOR were never as well known as other bands from their time (mid 80's) such as KREATOR, SODOM, DESTRUCTION & POSSESSED. Evil Invaders is a classic gem that has been overlooked for too long. This CD has the harsh aggression of early SODOM mixed with the heavy feeling of POSSESSED. Every track on this CD is brilliant. For those of you who have heard HYPOCRISY cover the title track on their "Final Chapter" release will be pleasantly surprised to hear the original in all it's glory. Every time I listen to this CD it takes me back to the glory days of THRASH music. If you have never heard RAZOR than I highly suggest starting with this CD as you will not regret it! I wish the original line up would reform and tour with EXODUS! You must own this CD!!

Great music. The band hails from Guelph Ontario Canada.If you like agressive hard thrash metal give this CD a try. Heavy guitars and deep growling vocals.

I had never heard RAZOR before buying this, but after viewing the "Get Thrashed" DVD I felt compelled to check them out. This is about as old-school as it gets. It's classic thrash from the mid-1980s very influenced by Kill 'Em All (Metallica) but faster and even dirtier. The album almost has a demo-ish sound in the production, which is actually one of its strengths. It feels raw and lifelike. The vocalist, who goes by the nickname "Sheepdog," is a gas! His voice is full of angst. The riffs are primitive and razor-sharp if you'll excuse the pun, and the drumming is fast but rudimentary. However when it comes to thrash metal, oftentimes less is more. All the pieces fit on Evil Invaders. Highly recommended for old school thrash fanatics!
