The Rise and Fall of a Criminal Empire,
By
This review is from: Evil Side of Money II (Evil Side of Money Trilogy) (Paperback)
In part 2 of The Evil Side of Money trilogy we find Nate and G reaping the rewards of all of their hard labor. Chicago hadn't seen a crime family like the one these two brothers formed. Fresh from hammering out their new deal in Bolivia Nate returns to Chicago with a queen for his castle. But will Gabriella's presence become a distraction that knocks Nate off of his square? Exactly how long can the team prosper before they start to take losses? Or even worse will the addition of Nate's new family cause him to grow a conscious?
Unlike the first installment part 2 doesn't just end at a climatic period in the brothers' lives. The cliffhanger Mr. Robertson provides the second time around will have readers anxious for the final installment. All the murder and mayhem has come to a head and it might actually be time for Nate and G to reap what they've sown. As the walls finally start to tumble down just who will remain standing?

Having read many books in between awaiting this sequel, it was extremely easy for me to bring characters to memory. This book tied in perfectly following the first and that I feel many authors lack. I knew exactly who everyone was and their lives was easily traveled throughout the entire piece. "BRINGING EXCITEMENT, FUN AND JOY TO READING" is just what Jeff Robertson has done in his books. Abrupt endings are sometimes given without notice but this one had me to silently say to myself, "Oh, he got me Good!" So in saying that I will be patiently awaiting the last part to this book. A very enjoyable read.

Running for your life!,

This review is from: Evil Side of Money II (Evil Side of Money Trilogy) (Paperback)
What happens when you have to run from something you thought would last forever? Unfrtunately, Nate never got the memo about the retirement places for drug dealers. While he thought he could rule with an iron fist, there's always a new hustler coming up trying to take your spot. This book is filled with drama, suspense, murder and mayhem, but it all made sense at the end. Great story.
