FBI Agent Harold Palmer needed a relaxing vacation. All he wanted was to travel to Sommersville, Georgia, to visit his brother, newspaper publisher and reporter, Franklin Palmer. Classmates coming from all over to reconnect, retell old stories, and have a great time reminiscing. Not for Sheriff Tom Myers and his deputies, though. For them this is a logistical nightmare, but nothing they can’t handle. Until the brutally murdered body of a woman is discovered. Together with Sheriff Myers, the Palmer brothers find themselves on the trail of a killer who preys on the fears of his victims. His targets are the unsuspecting members of the reunited class of ’95. They should fear his evil ways.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

Dedication

This novel is lovingly dedicated to the memories of my grandmothers, MayBelle McGinnis and Clara Nash, who would have both been so proud.

Acknowledgements

Writing is solitary work, but this book would not have made it without the help of a few special people whose help and support are greatly appreciated. There are a lot of you out there who have given me "attaboys" and other kind words of encouragement [you know who you are and I can't thank you enough]. There are far too many to single each and every one out, but there are a few I just have to mention by name.

Firstly, thanks to R.O. and Margaret Nash, the greatest parents in the world. Your support has been tremendous. And you make great comic strip characters to boot. Love ya.

Thanks to brother, Wesley, who not only provided me with the voice and mannerisms of Franklin Palmer in this novel, but also keeps me on my toes by telling me "this sucks" every now and again.

Thanks to Kurt Allen for the nice head shots. Much obliged, sir.

Thanks to Harriette Austin. Your classes helped me with that pesky fear of public speaking and for encouraging to write the darned thing in the first place. In your honor, no animals were harmed or killed in the writing of this novel.

Thanks to PA's staff who helped me through this experience and gave me a break when I needed it.

And finally, thank you, dear reader, for taking a chance on a first time novelist. Kick back, get comfortable, and enjoy. Hopefully, we can get together like this again soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb thriller!, July 26, 2006
This review is from: Evil Ways (Paperback)
I've been a fan of Bobby Nash's written work for years, initially in the comic book field, but now also in the prose novel arena. And, as always, he doesn't disappoint with his first novel, Evil Ways. This is a superb thriller that never lets up from beginning to end. I was on the edge of my seat, and I cannot wait for both the sequel, and Nash's next written work.

5.0 out of 5 stars FAST PACED THRILLER, July 8, 2006
By
Ron Fortier "Air Chief" (Fort Collins, Colorado) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Evil Ways (Paperback)
Bobby Nash delivers an electifying thriller that never lets up.
His two main characters, one an FBI Agent and the other, his newsppaer editor brother, are completely realized and add a different dimension as the mystery unfolds. A high school reunion scheduled during a founder's day celebration not brings back former residents of the sleepy little burg, but also a cold-blooded killer with a long memory.
This is brutal stuff and deftly handled. As a first novel, its
amazingly confident and well done. Can't wait to read more by
the talented Mr.Nash.
