I got one of these about two months ago, and am quite pleased with it. It is slightly larger than an incandescent bulb, and didn't fit in all the fixtures I have in the house, so be careful, but if it fits in the fixture, it is a very nice light. You can tell that it's quite efficient from the fact that you can touch it even after it's been running all day, and it is warm but not too hot to touch.
Mine was a very nice bright light. The color is a neutral white, not really "warm", but not the blue tint of earlier LED bulbs, either. The light is somewhat directional, so the bulb is best used in locations where a directional light is appropriate.
I'm expecting it to pay for itself in electric savings, and I'm happy that it doesn't contain mercury, so I consider it much more environmentally friendly than CF bulbs.

I'm using this in a recessed lighting fixture and its working as described. Light output, color, and power consumption are all as expected.

The light does not describe itself as either a spot or a flood, but I happen to be using to replace floods. This light is slightly more directional than a normal flood. It certainly can't be called a spot, but the overall illumination is not quite as even as with traditional flood lights. Still, for me its working very nicely. I plan to buy more as attrition takes it toll on the older lights.

This bulb provided ample directional lighting. In a table lamp the ceiling was bright but there was much less light at a usable level. We are using it in a high hat fixture successfully.

I got some of these and some of the Pharox III 6 Watt LEDs and these, although 13 watts, are much dimmer. I was hoping to use these in place of 100 watt bulbs but they were much too dim to use. While they seem well made, the 6 watt LEDs I got at the same time provided more light from the lamps they are going in. I really wanted to like these bulbs since even the Pharox III 6 watts don't seem quite as bright as a 60 watt incandescent - maybe 50-55 watts. These seemed even dimmer, maybe 35-40 watts.
