I first heard of this book when the bookstore I work in got a fax inviting us to get a review copy of it. We did, I read it, and I haven't stopped recommending it. Dr. Michael says there is no new truth. And there isn't. But there are new ways of presenting it. And Dr. Michael's way is simple, straight forward, easily understood, and very clear. I have personally sold over 40 books in a very small bookstore. And I have given the book to my friends and relatives. Everyone who has gotten the book has thanked me and told me how important the book has been to them; many have indicated it has changed their lives. The book answers such questions as what is the purpose of my life, how did I get into this mess, is there a life after death? And the answers make sense and take all of the fear out of such questions. Since I've read the book, I have been diagnosed with recurring breast cancer. My response to that diagnosis has been unbelievable to those around me. I attribute my healthy response to this book and the information contained in it. Buy the book, read it and pass it on. You could change the life of a friend.

I heard this doctor in a radio interview and was impressed enough to order both his books. But impressed as I was, I was not ready for the powerful message in this book.

Dr. Abrams is an emergency room physician, thus he sees a fair amount of death. Other medical people have written of seeing unusual, spiritual things at some deaths, so this isn't unique to him. But the doctor did ultmiately begin a discussion with the angel and this book contains some of those discussions.

The information is comforting, uplifting, and beautiful. It is also consistent with both common sense and scholarly translations of many of the earliest known books of the Bible. There isn't anything here I found to be new, but the way it is presented, and the natural impact of it, is absolutely stunning. The message is not limited to Christians, but all Christians will get a special pleasure from the angel's description of Christ.

I grew up in the Episcopal Church. I've read religions, theology, and spirituality for thirty years, and this is one of the two or three absolute best things I've ever had the pleasure of finding. It is a pure gift.

Dr. Abrams' book was recommended to me by a clerk at a local bookstore. I can't begin to tell you what this book has meant to me. Dr. Abrams demonstrates, with remarkable insight, universal truths about life, death, spirituality, love, and relationships. I was driven to both laughter and tears while reading this book. Also, Dr. Abrams illustrates so many different aspects of "The Evolution Angel" that anyone would benefit from some piece of this book, no matter what your spiritual beliefs might be. I've since recommended it to everyone I can. As a matter of fact, I'm now buying it in bulk to give as gifts to my friends and family. I hope I have convinced you to read this amazing book.

I've been involved in Metaphysical studies since 1971, and The Evolution Angel is one of the finest books I've ever read. Simple to read, yet full of valuable information, it gives one new viewpoints from which to look at Life, and death. The body may die eventually but the Spirit is infinite and eternal. My husband, my soul mate, died suddenly some months ago, and this book helped me immeasurably to deal with the unspeakable loss I felt. Yet, this book is truly about LIFE, in ALL its aspects. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is feeling pain of any magnitude and of any kind - emotional, physical, mental or spiritual - particularly those suffering from the loss of a loved one, whether the loved one died or left them for any other reason. Understanding helps to heal the pain and gives us peace of mind. The Evolution Angel offers a wealth of helpful information about Life in general, and in my opinion is a huge contribution to the human spirit.

This book was sent to me as a gift while I was watching my mother die of a horrible cancer. The last two days of her life, I sat next to her and read this book. The book was touching and beautiful and showed to me a perspective on the afterlife that I hadn't ever considered. There are many scientific-based examples, which, I think, will appeal to a more logical based mind.

But, what is truly important is that the ideas shared in this book gave me a lot of hope and comfort during the most painful time of my life. My mother and I both enjoyed sharing Evolution Angel together as we shared her last breaths.

I now recommend it to everyone I know who is experiencing a loss of a loved one.

i love this book was gifted this book and now i am gifting it to an old friend that i can only pray it will assist them as it did me .. also i have met Dr. Michael Abrams and he is a genuine and beautiful soul that is in his heart and loves sharing his gifts

This book should be read by anyone partaking in the care of terminal patients, friends and family members.Easily written with much wisdom to be had by all.

I am almost finished reading this book. I agree with one of the reviewers, who is the real author.?

Having said that, the doctor does not say there is no evil; he suggests we do create our own reality, that we are just a small part of the universe, infestimal; it made sense that he incorporates all religions, not just Christianity although his description of Jesus makes sense and he spends a lot of time on him.

This man write in an honest manner from his perspective; it does not sound new agish to me. Basically what he is saying that he hears from his messengers is that Love is the most powerful commodity, a sense of humor is good to have, and that no man is excluded from "heaven" just because he is not of the Christian faith. All great books and teachers have their place.

While he does not back it up scientifically; he is in fact a scientist. What science can explain God? The power of love?

I was happy to hear that from his perspective, and what he is being told, that Buddists get to go to a good "place" too.

If he hears it in his mind, so what? Don't we all hear things in our minds. Does that make him delusional! I would rather hear something in my mind, validate it, as I believe he does to the best of his abilty, rather than read a book, any book and take it to heart as the only truth. Michaels does not say this is the only truth; he says this is his experience. We can take it or leave it. I found it helpful, and chose to take his information and put it to use.

In an effort to save someone else time and research, this book IS the same book as the one written by "Todd Michael", that is a pen name for Dr. Michael Abrams or vice versa. It is definitely confusing that both are listed on Amazon in the way they are, and that they have a difference of 12 pages.

It is the same book and it is amazing! Get it now :).

This book is full of Love and Comfort and all I can say is that it makes you want to pick yourself up and never look down again! Inspirational and I feel so grateful that Dr. Abrams shared this knowledge with the world.
