For anyone who has an open mind about the esoteric and ideas regarding death & after-life experiences, this slim volume is a very worthwhile read. I was particularly drawn to the fact that it's author was an Emergency Room physician/manager and therefore far from 'airy-fairy' in his initial beliefs. I found the book extremely easy to digest and though I was still left with many questions after finishing it, I was captivated by all that I learned from Michael's experience. I would especially recommend this book to anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one, fearful of dying themselves or dealing with terminal illness. As well, the book makes a great starter for those just beginning to explore the angelic realm and perhaps particularly to those on the skeptical side, looking for information from a person with no real agenda other than to share the amazing gift he was unexpectedly blessed to receive.

Have you ever read a book and thought - "I have been waiting for this all of my life!" Well, that is exactly how I felt while reading this book. I bought copies for my friends and gave them as gifts. The book contains nothing really new - but the delivery is credible and thought provoking. I have gone on to read the two other books by the author and found them to be even better.

I believe anyone reading this book will come away with some real gems they can use in their life. This is an uplifting book showing our lives as they were meant to be.
It is full of wonderful insights. This book is a very easy read. I could hardly put in down and read it in about 4 hours.

Michael, a medical doctor, wrote this book while serving as the medical director of an emergency room and level three trauma center. He believes that his attendance at more than 500 deaths gave him a closer relationship to spirit. By opening himself to unlimited possibilities and by using his imagination and meditation, he was able to develop a relationship with a spiritual messenger, referred to as the Evolution Angel, rather than the Angel of Death. Through this entity, Michael learned many aspects of life and death of the human body and evolution of the soul. He asked many questions of this light-hearted friendly being about reality, abundance, religion, Jesus and more. Michael was told that this process is available to everyone and although he was present for the deaths, this was just one way to silence his mind long enough for spirit to start communication with him. In the last few pages you learn a process to help silence your mind and become closer to spirit.

I found information & knowledge I've been seeking. Looking forward to reading more of Dr.Todd Michael's books.

i bought this book because my youngest brother passed away recently of cancer at age 50, and I was struggling with understanding and accepting his passing. It didn't make any sense to me. I wanted a book to help me widen my understanding of death. This book was most helpful. The author was an emergency room trauma doc for years and began to talk to the souls of the people who died in his ER. He didn't really mean to, or start out with that as a goal, it just started happening one day. Some of the 500 or so deaths were untimely, some were very young, some suicides, some violent, some accidental, some just a peaceful passing. It was just the book I needed to understand my brother, to be at peace about him, and to move on.

I have read similar books but this one spoke to me on a more personal level. Always good to be reminded of who we are.

This book helped remind me that this human experience is not all there is. It also shared a different perpective
about health issues/conditions that have a much greater purpose than suffering.

The only book I've ever read where once I was finished I said that I want to read it again. And I will. A real gem filled with universal truth.

I greatly enjoyed reading "The Evolution Angel." It ties in with several books I have read about the afterlife. I guess a person just has to experience losing
someone close and to have an open mind about all this. It was interesting to read
and I would recommend it, especially if you would like to be a more
spiritual person.
