This book is a great companion to any anthropology course. It has a lot of current and very interesting information about human evolution, natural selection, race, genetics and more. The text is written is a way that is easy to understand and retain. I think that it would be especially helpful to any first year student of anthropology. Get this excellent book if you want to learn about yourself and others!

This review is from: Evolution In An Anthropological View (Paperback)
As a first year Anthropology student, I bought this book as part of my preparation for a final essay. I think that the book is extremely informative and well organized by topic. It tells us a lot about what it means to be human. The chapters on race and Neandertals intrigued me quite a bit. I was also struck by the readability of the work. if you are studying Anthropology, or just want to know more about humans, definitely check this out!P.S. As for the final essay... I got 100/100. No comments except for the rave at the end. |
