A musicians delight,
By Chris Stone (Eugene, OR) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Evolution of Electronic Music (Paperback)
If you have ever felt the energy of the music at a party, this book explains it all. Ernst explains every detail of the history of electronic music and deals heavily with the concept of the "Found Object" in electronic composition. He takes the reader all over the spectrum from classical compositions involving noise and tape manipulations to more modern synth based pieces, all with a discography so you can locate records that interest you. A must read for avid emusic fans.
