Ann Gilbert McDonald, Ph.D is the author of three books. Published in 1989, EVOLUTION OF THE NIGHT LAMP pictures, dates, describes hundreds of miniature oil lamps, produced by American glass companies from 1877 to 1920. Published in 1989, ALL ABOUT WELLER, A History and Collectors Guide to Weller Pottery, Zanesville, Ohio, was followed in 2006, by All ABOUT WELLER, BOOK 2, A History of Weller Pottery, the Founder, the Family, the Lines, and the Artists.
