This text is a collection of critical papers on the topic of Evolutionary Ecology. It serves as good background information on some of the major trends and theories supporting evolutionary ecology. Could be very useful to the evolutionary ecologist, adding to one's growing library.
This was assigned in a graduate Evolutionary Ecology course. Many of the chapters were very informative. Occasionally, they are nothing more than rehashing an author's (or authors') previous review of a subject. As a new student to evolutionary ecology I found it extremely helpful as an introduction to the broader themes.
This book is really great for students interested in evolutionary ecology. All topics are up to date and each chapter is written by experts in their field. A must have for anyone in ecology and evolution!
