Great Climbing Shoes,

I bought these based on online reviews and use them to climb in an indoor gym (never taken them outdoors) and they are great. I don't know a whole lot about the shoes, but for a new climber, climbing 3-4 times a week, these shoes have been wonderful.

Real Sensitive Shoe!,

I really like this shoe. It is super sensitive and comfortable. I use it mainly to warm up before I get on overhanging projects. If you are going to be doing a lot of continuous climbing this shoe is great because you don't have to take it off as often as a downturned shoe.

These Shoes Are Amazing,

When I first recieved these shoes I thought they were too small. All of my friends said that I would adjust to them. Over a few trips to the rock gym they were fitting my feet perfectly. They may have streched a little bit but not by much. They have excellent grip and durability. I have only had them about a month so we will see if they pass the test of time. Overall great shoe, especially for the price! No doubt about it, get these shoes!

I am just starting out and the only shoes I have tried are the gym rentals (mad rock laceups). I wore a size 9 womens, or 7 mens. i ordered these shoes because i saw them on a friend and i liked the ease of velcro. I ordered a 7 mens without trying them on. when I got them there was no way i was going to get my feet in them. i thought they sent a 7 womens.

These are great climbing shoes! They are a little tight when you first get them but they stretch out perfectly! Very good feel when you are on the rocks all around great shoe without breaking the bank and they are comfortable. I love them!

Nice shoes with good quality material but breaths well.Fits well and breaks-in / forms to foot rather quickly large toe point for small chis Velcro sections to long if you like your shoe tight to your foot I would recommend this shoe to a beginner to mid level climber that wants something that is easy on and off. I would recommend a half size smaller then your normal shoes if you want a good snug fit. I have not tested these outdoors only indoors

I bought my pair of Kaos II shoes at a clearance price, thinking that I would use them to save wear on my more expensive shoes. I was very surprised by how well they climb, they are very good for smearing foot holds, you can actually feel the shape of the rock under your feet. They really excel on the rounded type of footholds you find on soft sandstone & also work well on rounded holds in the gym. The uppers are great for the gym & hot days outside, your feet can breathe. The toe profile is low, so they work good for jamming cracks. The edging is not great, maybe slightly better than my evolve Defy's, and not quite as good as my Evolve Pontas. For crisp edges my 5.10 Anasazi VCS are much better. If I could only have one shoe it would probably be the Anasazi VCS, if I could have two pairs I would add the Kaos II.

I just started rock climbing a few weeks ago so I did some research to find a good entry-level climbing shoe, and I'm really happy with these. They come on and off very easily even when my grip is exhausted so I can slip into a different pair for belaying. Also, I wear a size 13 athletic shoe and that has always left a little bit of room, but 13.5 for this pair pinches my toes a bit (like it's supposed to) but I have a feeling a 13 would have been too small, so take that into consideration if you have a similar sized foot.

Good Shoe, runs Really small,

My old shoes, (La Sportiva) were 10.5s and after wearing in were about right, so I figured these would run close. They do not at all, every pair of shoes I own, both climbing and street are 10.5s. This shoe I wear a 11.5 and it is good after it is worn in. They are great shoes, just be aware of sizing issues, and don't wait till a few days before a climbing trip to buy. Buy weeks in advance.

I ordered my normal climbing shoe size, a men's 6. I wear a women's 8 street side. Barely crammed my feet into the shoes. If any of you all remember the scene in Cinderella with the ugly stepsisters and the glass slipper... Well then you get the picture. Because they are a downturned shoe, they should flatten out some. But it would be advisable to go up a half size from your normal climbing size. Either that, or try them on at your gym.
