I loved this so much that I bought four more to give away. You're saving water in two ways. The best aspect is that the water goes to a trickle when it's hot which must save gallons. It opens up for a full shower when you pull the tag. Second, you're only using 1.5 gpm but you're still getting great water pressure. It's a tiny bit smaller in diameter than our old water guzzler which I stopped noticing after the first shower. The only downside for me was the packaging. The first time I placed the order it came in a very compact cardboard packaging which I really liked. The second time it was in this huge flimsy packaging with plastic window (environmentally unsound, difficult to wrap and ship.

I like that this showerhead saves water 2 ways- by being low flow and by shutting off when the water is hot enough to jump in. Rather than stick my hand in a few times, I just let it run until it shifts to a trickle, then pull the switch, turn on the cold and go! I bought one as a test about a year ago and having used it regularly during that time, bought 2 more. It's not annoyingly spitty like some cheap low-flow heads, and has a big, solid look to it, further improving on the old crappy low flows. I'm constantly amazed that this is actually more frugal with water than many other crappy "eco" showerheads.
