5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME
First of all, I'd like to thank Gil, Eli, Zelick, and Joel for being such cool guys to their fans. Me and some friends met them after one of their shows with Nothingface, and they treated us like we were brothers. Thanks Endo. Now to the album. Endo has taken the live music scene by storm with one of the most amazing and one of most energetic live shows in America. Anyone...

Anyone who has seen them live knows exactly what I'm talking about. With the release of "Evolve" Endo has taken their live energy on put it on tape, a rare occasion in music today. "Evolve" whoops some serious a**. With Gil's angry vocals and lyrics dealing with the harsh society we all have to face day by day and a troubled youth growing up in it and Eli's harsh as hell riffs, Zelick's funky bass lines, and Joel's thunderous drums, Endo takes nu-metal to a whole new extreme. Definatly stop what you are doing right now, cough up $15 and go buy this awesome album. One of the years best, "Evolve" is a fresh, high energy ride that doesn't stop until the last second of the cd is done. Endo has pulled out the stops, and has made some real music. Go buy this album right now, if you're disappointed, you don't know what real music sounds like. BUY IT NOW. Best tracks: All of them.

I was at Red Rocks Amphitheater out near Denver yesterday and saw Nonpoint, Systematic, Hed (p.e.), Clutch, Stabbing Westward, and The Offspring. It was awesome - afterwards some guys were handing out promo CD's for Endo. It has Malice and Suffer on it. Malice is an awesome riffed-out heavy song. Since I haven't heard the full CD I gave it only 4 stars, but if you like nu-metal you'll enjoy this...

4.0 out of 5 stars Listen..., May 30, 2001

I was skeptical when I first listened to this CD. I have a pile of cd's from new bands that I thought would deliver hard-edge, heavy, powerful, intense - good music and didn't. ENDO does.

No two songs sound alike on EVOLVE. Each one has a different feel. "Leave Us Alone" and "Malice" (also on the Dracula 2000 soundtrack) rip! "The Program" takes a left turn and just rocks.

I saw ENDO with GODHEAD and they both sounded incredible live. I was curious to see if ENDO could pull off that crisp sound live and they did. They were super tight and Gil, the singer, is quite a sight to see. He belts out every song with intensity and powerful emotion. Eli, guitar, was perfect and Zelick, bass, roared.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Adrenaline, June 11, 2008
This review is from: Evolve (Audio CD)
This CD is pure adrenaline. "Leave us Alone" starts it off with a bang and it doesn't let up. "Beat Around the Bush" is also a great song to get pumped up listening to. The noise quality is amazing. Also, Songs for the Restless is a totally different type of music. Although it is good, it doesn't pack the punch that Evlove does.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of the best bands you won't remember in five years., June 13, 2003

This is generic nu metal that won't matter in a couple years. They didn't come out in 94. They aren't even close to original. Then why do i like this Cd so much? It saves itself with some of the best riffs I have heard in a long time. It actually would have gotten five stars if it weren't for some of the rap-style vocals. I know as a fact that they will never go platinum. If they had come a couple years earlier, they would be ten times platinum by now. This is some of the best nu metal out there. You should get this. If you don't get it now, you might not ever have a chance. bands like this don't last too long and this might go out of print. Now that are on ozzfest, I hope they ditch some of the rap because the new album is probably their last chance.

5.0 out of 5 stars unexplainable quality, November 7, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Evolve (Audio CD)
I'm not usually for band who have a new metal/rap metal sound because bands like that are almost a dime a dozen, but i bought this a little after it came out and it really blew me away. while if falls 100% into the label mentioned above, and its actually a solid record. Endo takes simple melody and heavyness and bind the two in a package so tight its unreal. The playing and chemistry of these guys is amazing. The album is so predictable, but yet i catch myself nodding my head to the beat of every song. I really cant get enough of these guys and can't wait to see what they come up with next. A solid record for anyone who like heavy music.

This is a decent CD... In all the [stuff] that is out there this isnt half bad... along the lines of Drowning Pool with a little hint of Pantera and Manson!!! Has Nu-Metal tendicies but they are acceptable in my opinion, Check it out used, or listen to sound clips and decide for yourself I know I like it!!!
