This review is from: Evolving Brief Therapies: In Honor of John H. Weakland (Paperback)
John Weakland was one of the most important founders of Communication Theory and a pioneer of brief therapy. This book, based on a conference in Weakland's honor, is a collection of outstanding papers written by leading brief therapists. The subject: effective and efficient treatment of a wide range of clinical difficulties. Anyone interested in learning more about haw to help people experiencing intransigent behavioral and emotional problems will enjoy and learn from this book. Ray and de Shazer are to be commended for this inspiring and useful tribute to their mentor.
