An excellent example of Mr. Brouillette's step from realistic painting to abstraction. Great inspiration for artists who are looking for ways to stretch their skills, and their vision. I studied with Mr. Brouillette years ago, and this material is as fresh today as it was then. Mr. Brouillette is no longer with us, but through his book, we can continue to learn from his experiences.

Mr. Brouillette's book will take you through his thinking and painting processes as well as good basic art concepts. His painting process is unlike any other. Although this book was written in 1987, the concepts and ideas will inspire you to go paint! If you do nothing else but savor the many examples of his fantastic work, this will be a treasured addition to your art library.
