I am a post op for gastric bypass surgery. One brontosaurus is exactly one ounce. Lunch has never been so fun. I am a 33 yr old man.

Great Sandwich cutter.. huge hit with my son.. but found it at Target for less than $2 - in the snack aisle hanging from a rack

My kids will eat any kind of sandwich now that they can be dyno shaped! Before it was PB&J only. If only I knew about this "trick" earlier. I just ordered the dolphin one and the heart one.

My son will not eat bread crusts. I picked up this gadget to see if it would make lunchtime any easier. He loves it. The cutter fits a standard "Mrs Bairds" sized loaf easily with very little crust leftover. I'm very pleased and going to pick up the hearts and dolphins sets in this manufacturer.

I wanted to make lunch more 'interesting' for my daughter and came across these....she enjoyed her dinosaur sandwiches and so did her friends! Easy to do and no mess...other than the crust :)

I got this and the heart cutter a couple years ago for my daughter's bentos. This one is her favorite. She actually does like crusts, so she'll eat the crusts when she makes the sandwich, then pack the dinosaurs into her box. They are so adorable, and it's held up really well through the last couple of years.
She's 15 now, and she still thinks dinosaur sandwiches are great.

This item was a great buy! It was shipped quickly, and not too expensive. The only issue I had is that i buy Monk's bread and it's two small to make two whole brontosauruses. Other than that it is amazing!

This sandwich cutter yields two potentially crust free dinosaurs shapes.

Mom bought this at our local grocery store when our son was about 20 months old. Now at 26 months, he loves to help make his sandwiches and cut his toast with this.
We have tried this out with Peanut Butter and Jelly, Grilled Cheese, and Toast with anything on it. This cutter has worked well on all of these but it just doesn't look like it will work on a sandwich that isn't glued together well. We use a whole wheat bread and this cutter fits most slices where it cuts the crust off almost perfectly. Sometimes it leaves part of the crust uncut or part of the bread cut but it all depends on the size of the slice.

My son loves to choose which cutter to use (he usually chooses the dolphin). We keep it in a drawer without a safety latch so he can open it and bring it to us. Then we line it up for him and he helps us press down (he can't press it firmly enough to do it alone). It smashes the edges a bit but leaves the middle alone. He then tears off the crust and eats any non-crust bits (but discards the crust) that were cut off the sandwich if the bread was too big.

It seems to help him eat more of his sandwich and he has a great time helping to make it.

Pros:
*Fun for toddlers. Gives them a routine and lets them participate.
*Dishwasher safe.
*Sturdy.
*Inexpensive.

Cons:
*Has tight crevices that make it bothersome to hand wash and dry.

I bought this for my daughter's dinosaur birthday party to make mini PB&J sandwiches and they were a hit! Now she asks for them all the time. The product is sturdy and the blade is sharp enough to cut nicely.

This sandwich cutter has single handedly increased my daughter's food intake. Before this, it was hard to get her to eat half a sandwich, now she will have 2 or 4 dino's at a sitting! I wish there wasn't so much wasted crust, but we get big bread. It cuts well through all sorts of sandwiches, washes in the dishwasher, and makes really cute sandwiches. AND I don't have to cut off the crust by hand any more!
