Most Effective Pet Hair Remover Ever!,
By Although I will never admit it to the salesman; this broom is the most effective tool for removing pet hair that I have ever used. The rubber bristles create friction which pulls the hairs embedded in the carpet fibers. After vacuuming your carpet, the 'Sweepa' will loosen and remove hair which the suction of a vacuum could not remove. I was, more than, embarrassed by the amount of hair this sweeper gathered. I'm surprised that anyone in the house could breath. I use the 'Pet Hair Magnet' on my furniture and drapes. It is a short handled tool which uses the same principle as the 'Sweepa' (friction). I've never given a broom as a gift. However, I am giving the 'Sweepa' to my friends, with pets, as gifts. No doubt, they will assume the broom is one of my gag gifts; until they use it. M. I bought this rubber broom for the weirdest purpose ever... to rake hair out of the carpet. I have long black hair, and when I use my vacuum to clean my carpet, the rollers will get clogged with hair and it just ends up dragging along the floor. Since there isn't a vacuum out there that can handle long hair, I needed another solution. This rubber broom is PERFECT. The long handle makes it easy for me to go around the carpet quickly. The rubber attracts the hair and just combs it all together. It picks up so much hair that when I vacuum afterwards, there is little to no hair on the vacuum brush.

Disappointed,
This review is from: Everholder FURemover Broom (Misc.)
My first complaint is that the telescoping handle doesn't lock when extended. It stays put by pressure against the floor. That works until you lift it up and the bottom half slides out onto the floor. Maybe mine is broken? Not sure. Secondly, I haven't had great success with it picking up dog hair. Maybe my floors are cleaner than I think. Lastly, I read somewhere that it can be used as a pile rake for carpet. I found this to be far from the truth. It just bounces along the top of the carpet doing nothing to the pile.

The Sweepa is turning out to be way better than a regular broom; the bristles don't wear out, you can rinse it under the tap, it extends to way longer than I need it (I'm 6' and there's lots of crappy brooms out there that are too short) AND, best of all, it keeps my 2 year-old occupied for at least 15 minutes at a stretch (just make sure to shorten the handle all the way).
I even used it to squeegy the wood planks on my back deck after hosing it down. I'd give it 5 stars if it were maybe 2" wider, but other than that, I mean come on. 11 bucks? You can't go wrong. NOTE: doesn't really work on carpets unless you have a lot of time on your hands. But for houses with lots of hardwood or tile, highly recommended.

I bought this product after getting our second dog. Suddenly, my vacuum couldn't handle the hair. This works great on an 8X10 area rug in the most used room in our house. The hair it picks up is unbelievable - like a third dog! After I "sweep" the rug, I vacuum and it's all done. You will get a workout doing this, but it does work.

We have hard wood floors in the entire house and only a few area rugs. My housekeeper would rather use this FURemover Broom with a towel wrapped around the end to clean the floors than a mop. The rubber bristles on the end holds the towel in place as she pushes the broom back and forth. She said it's easier and more thorough to wash and wring out a towel than a typical mop. She uses a lighter weight bath towel and she can get into the corners. She goes over the floor using a damp, slightly soapy towel and then goes back over with a dry towel. This probably wasn't the intended use for this broom, but it works and my floors are super clean! I wanted to edit this and give it a full 5 stars, but the "edit" section wouldn't allow me. So, 5 STARS!!!
