Concise, informative, but leaves you wanting more.,

Here is a book that is hard not to judge by its cover. Ewa looks create in that tight dress, but her own instruction says that you should dress comfortably and wear flat shoes! If you are looking for a short, quick read on the fundamentals, rules and some basic strategy, this book is worth the couple of hours it takes to read it, but there are a number of other books on the market that cover this ground and more. I did like Ewa's insights into 9 ball strategy (breaking and table reading). Her short section on the mind game is very good too. My wife is just beginning to play pool and, at this point, does not want a comprehensive read. This book and personal instruction from a qualified professional should help get her on the right road. If you are looking for more indepth reading, look elsewhere. A final word of caution ... some of the diagrams in the second half of the book are not accurate. Robert Byrne's books do not suffer from similar problems.
