The only redeeming quality is it was free on Prime.

The dialogue seemed forced and awkward, and the characters weren't often believable.

I just couldn't get interested or care about either of them.

A film about past relationships. Sweet, funny, nothing deep...just what I needed..

I recommend for when you need a light night in.

Alexander Poe wrote and directed a charming, funny, realistic look at the lives of single twenty-something's living in New York. Poe also manages to show us a side of New York most non-natives don't get see. Watch it!!!

Nothing too deep but entertaining and well written. I would definitely watch more of his movies. Great independent flick for a weekday watch.

I loved this movie. Shows a unique look on dating in ur late 20's, early 30's. Jennifer Carpenter's portrayal of Kate is very fun, yet vunerable. I loved her take on the different degrees of dating. Also love amazon instant video, it's great that it's compatible on so many different devices.

This movie is good for people who like literature and realism. It's heavy on subtext and dialogue. I really liked it, but did notice that it almost seemed like it was coming from another era... like the indie movies that came out in the early nineties. We don't often come across movies of people just being people without heavier messages of political or social import these days and I think that affected other people's reactions to this movie. The narrator's voice and style reminded me quite a bit of the writings of David Foster Wallace.

So I've seen this film before (on Hulu) and its worth watching again on Amazon Prime. That sounds strange but its a different experience without commercials, which obviously, the director did not want.

The director and author is also the lead male in the movie. This is difficult to pull off and execute with integrity, and Alexander Poe puts together a nuanced performance of a normal guy in New York in his 20s. He's a little morally vague, aware that he is not as good as he'd like, but not as ruthless as he needs to be to really make it.

Really strong supporting roles, really effective at capturing the spirit of the time and place. It's worth your time.

This film both made me smile and think. Kristen Connelly, Jennifer Carpenter and Alexander Poe are all excellent in this film and have such a presence - and the script is really seems to create room for the actors as well as the story line on the screen. Poe's directorial debut in feature film tells us that there are great things ahead for this guy. All we can do is sit back and wait for his next project.

If you expect big action sequences, dramatic overtures or extreme gestures - this is not your film. HOWEVER, that's exactly why you'll fall in love with it, if you love the indie genre and all that it can bring us.

This is definitely one of my favourite films that I will be watching again-and-again... and I encourage every other indie-fan to give it a chance too.
