These pants are just really good. They are super light, yet they don't feel or sound like nylon pants you may be used to. The Durable water repellant/stain repellant is impressive. I took a full 16 oz glass of water and poured it over one spot and the water just rolled right over it and they were perfectly dry. I am tempted to try it with wine, but I trust my testing so far. They fit really well and look good. Adequate number of pockets, and they seem well made and from other reviews I guess they are durable.
You can't go wrong buying something that won't get dirty/wet/stained when you are kayaking/hiking/fishing, yet looks good enough to hit the town that same night without any washing. You could get away with not having another pair of pants ever again.
