These Flashcards helped me pass the PHR. They have lots of information on them (somewhat contradicting the 'flash' concept), so you will probably end up hilighting on them as you would a book. They do not cover all topics that were on my exam, so I recommend combining them with other study sources.

I was pleased with this product. It is another useful format to use when studying. I found it especially helpful for studying right before I took the PHR exam as the flashcards are something you can carry with you and pull out whenever you have a minute to study. As I am a visual learner, I wish the flashcards would have used a "list or bullet" format which I think would be more helpful in pulling the "meat" or "trigger" words out of the answers for memorization. I think the font could be just a little larger too. All in all, it was a wise purchase for me.

Although the idea is great, I feel like you might be better off creating your own flash cards as you will absorb the material better writing everything down.
I did go through all of these flash cards. I spent a lot of time trying to highlight the important information because some of the cards have entire book excerpts on the back side. I also found myself adding comments to them. Were they helpful? They were somewhat. I passed the exam but attribute that to spending a lot of time revising the cards to meet the information needs. Thanks
