Love lots of things about this: projection, sound quality, all the features. The one MAJOR flaw is that when you set the alarm, you cannot set the volume the alarm goes off at. I wanted nice music to wake up to on volume setting #1. It comes on BLARING on volume setting #26!!! Seems to do this on any of the modes (beep, radio, sounds, iPod) and is VERY annoying. I am trying to sell it to get something else.

As the previous reviewer mentioned, there is NO preset volume control. It is the loudest and most annoying alarm I have ever heard. It is nice to wake up to ocean sounds but I don't want it to sound like I am inside a typhoon or hurricane. I have even written the company about this and they will not respond. Unless you like to wake up as if your room just had a freight train run through it then do not buy this alarm clock. LOUD and uncontrollable volume. It wakes up my kids on the other side of the house it is so loud.

Very nice Product.,

I bought this product as it is one of the few with both an Ipod connection and a projector. I agree with other reviewers that the lack of alarm volume control is a major oversight but it can be overcome.
I bought this to wake up to my ipod for an alarm. Before I put my alarm songs into my ipod I simply use a free Mp3 editor to decrease the decibals by approx 30%. Then when the alarm goes off at a high level it is the perfect volume. If you want to wake up to nature sounds then simply put some nature sounds on your ipod (I use the nature sounds on the product with the sleep function to put myself to sleep). This is obviously more work than it should be but it's an easy way to overcome the only problem with an otherwise excellent product. If you want to wake up to the radio it might be too loud. The projector works very well and the display is very bright (almost too bright but it comes with a dimmer and off function). The sound quality is excellent and allows the user to use it as a small stereo as well.
