5.0 out of 5 stars Excalibur cocking rope
As usual, Amazon delievered my product on time and the cocking rope worked as advertised. I can cock my Excalibur Vortex by hand (200 pound pull) but it sure helps (especially when in a stand) to be able to cock the bow with only half the strength - 100 pounds.

2.0 out of 5 stars ok quality
does not help all that much, I find it is just easier to cock the x bow by hand and not deal with this, it is currently in the drawer at home not in the xbow case

Used the cocking aid on my BowTech desert Stryker. Rope is plenty long enough to go over the stock. Lot cheaper way to go than the OEM.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works Great, August 27, 2011
This review is from: Excalibur Rope Cocking Aid (Sports)
Mine came with my Excalibur crossbow. It works great. They cocking rope is used to ensure that the rope is centered in the cross bow and it cuts the draw weight in half. I still use whiteout on the string to double check the string is centered. The reason I don't give it a 5 stare is it takes longer to use this then by cocking your crossbow by hand, also it can make noise when it bounces off the crossbow. It is also hard to use in a tree stand when you are strapped in properly.I missed out on being able to shoot a second deer that was right behind the one I shot, because I could not cock it back, I was seated and would have had to pull it out and set it up quietly. I could not cock it seated by hand being that it has a 225lb draw and did not want to stand in the process and spook the deer. I had one dying right near me.
