I bought this for my wife for Christmas and although there were some serious issues with the delivery of the product (we live in Alaska, so delivery issues aren't uncommon), we finally received it and my wife has been cranking out trays and trays of dried apples, strawberries, fruit rolls, etc. If it holds up as well as they claim, we'll be quite happy with it. So far, so good.

This was a birthday gift for my husband who is very proficient and picky in the kitchen. It arrived promptly and he was thrilled with the quality. Definitely a good buy!

After my old Harvest Maid dehydrator died after 30 years, I knew this one was what I was going to get and
I'm sure not sorry. I don't have to turn the trays around midway or rotate them and jerky
dehydrated at 155 is much better than 145. So far we've made one batch apple leather & one batch jerky.
It sure works great! And may I add, MADE IN THE USA I love that...

I dehydrate alot of meat to make jerky. I used to use 2 of the 4 tray round dehydrators and even they they worked just fine, I find the 9 square trays hold alot more. And the trays are easier to clean and this machine runs so much more quiet. I def recommend !

This has to be the GREATEST kitchen/camping/outdoor think my husband and ever bought. It was shipped to us in perfect condition with extra cook books and easy to follow directions. The very first Jerky we made was amazing. We bought a pre mix jerky mix for out first batch and for our second batch we used the cook book. OUR jerky is better then any store bought stuff and it's all natural. I'm just sorry we didn't by it a lot sooner. I would recommend this product to anyone, great for school kids snacks at school or at home. Great for hiking and camping or just sitting around watching tv.

I bought this dehydrater for my son at Christmas. He is a tough person to buy for, but knowing he loves beef jerkey, I decided to buy it for him. It is a very good appliance. I had a first generation dehydrater and it can't compare to the Excalibur. This makes jerkey so much faster and it's better then what I made years ago. Great gift item.
