Some of us would like to use this film as an introduction to Arthurian lore for our children, and would prefer to not wait until they're old enough witness the graphic rape of Ygraine. THAT's why.

The R-rated version is 140 minutes, the PG cut is 119 minutes. This is the 140 minute version.
