Product Description

Based on Excalibur's famous Vari-Zone crossbow scope, the Lumi-Zone is a serious low light option made with today's avid crossbow hunter in mind. The Lumi-Zone combines a 40 mm objective lens for maximum light gathering with an illuminated multiplex reticle, making it a must for hunting in the low light conditions when "the big ones" are active. Like the Vari-Zone, the Lumi-Zone features Excalibur's adjustable multiplex crosshair system that makes it possible to adjust crosshair spacing for precisely 10 yard increments to match the exact trajectory of your crossbow at velocities between 250 and 350 FPS. Our unique reticle will allow you to automatically adjust your aim in order to compensate for your arrow's trajectory from 0 to 50 yards. Simply estimate your target's range, hold the appropriate aiming point directly where you want the arrow to hit, and shoot! For in-between shots (25, 35, 45 yards) bracket your target between the appropriate aiming points before firing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as great as they make out to be, December 10, 2010

This review is from: Excalibur Lumizone 2-4X40mm Crossbow Scope (Sports)
It is descent in low light, but I would say it is no better that the Horton Mult-A- Range I had, which didn't last very long and only had a 2 year warranty, which lead me to this Lumi-zone.In very low light conditions the illuminated option on the lowest light setting is still to bright. The brightness of the crosshairs washes out the view and you lose sight of what your shooting at. The optics are probably not the best since the scope is made in China. I searched every where I could and this seemed to be the best option I could find.
I wish some one like Luepold would come up with a quality 3 x 40mm crossbow scope with a 30mm tube.
