I was looking for something portable to practice hole card strategy. Most inexpensive hand-helds are limited to a heads-up format, but this one is a 6-player ring game, which is a big plus!
And the hand odds feature is really nice--something else I haven't seen in other hand-helds. The sounds are a little annoying for me, but there is an option button to mute the sound after play begins. On balance, this is a great little practice game for Hold'em players. For the price it has a lot of functionality you won't find in other poker hand-helds in the same price bracket. If you don't own an iPhone or iPad and don't want the expense of a Nintendo DS or the like just to get a decent ring game for plane trips, car rides, and waiting rooms, this is your game right here!
