About the Author
Rick Winter is a MOUS Master. This means that he has passed the Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint Expert exams. Rick is also an accomplished instructor who has taught over 3000 students. He is past president of Information Systems Trainers where he continues to teach Office Users. He has also written over 20 books for Que including Special Edition Using Microsoft Office 97, Microsoft Office 97 User Manual, and Microsoft Excel 97 Quick Reference Guide.

I was looking to pass the MOUS exam but didnt know where to start from.I think for someone who is new to Excel and or wants to obtain the MOUS Certification this book is the answer.Its precise and to the piont, tells you what you need to know in order to pass & it comes with a CD with practice questions and answer so gives a good idea of what you can expect in the real exam.For MOUS Expert Exams look no further!

I read the book and completed the excercises and had no problem passing the Excel 2000 MOUS exam at the expert level.

The book is what it says, it's a cheat sheet. If all you want to do is strictly pass the MOUS exams, Core or Expert, then this is all you need. Like the rest of the books in the series its more like a test prep. As long as you are able to complete all the exercises at the end of each chapter you are guaranteed to pass.The practice questions are very similar to the real test and in some cases are actually more involved. (which is a good thing)You can supplement this with a more complete reference book, or practice test software from measureup, and you're set.
