While parts of the book provide very obvious solutions to Excel problems, there are some tricks and techniques that are outlined that I never realized existed. For that reason alone, I provide a high rating for this book. Two of my favorites are normilization of Pivot data and copying the pivot table format to a seperate Excel file. IF you look on the web, Debra provides free advice. Her books are constantly referenced when searching Google for Pivot table questions. If that were not enough, many of these books can be purchased at a large discount by third party sellers.

The best part of this book is everytime I do a web search, material in the book pops up. You will find the index is weak at best, but a quick web search will direct you to the exact page. I use this book extensively for work - excellent.

its a waste of time to work on a pivot table without devouring both Ms. Dalglish's books. The format of the first is what you'd expect, the format of this one a little off-putting because it reads more like a story than a technical manual, but the content is absolutely nonpareil. Nuggets abound, so you really need to read it all. You will not be sorry.
