Perfect for marquetry. Grip is comfortable, but not too squishy. I love the hex end, it doesn't roll off the table. Anvil holds well without having to crank it down. The plastic cap that protects the blade it thick, so I'll actually keep and use it for awhile. Great American product, U.S. Quality is hard to beat!

This knife has a metal body covered with a grippable rubber. This allows for very precise cuts without the knife slipping in your hand. The blade lock is easy to close and holds the blade very securely. The knurled locking mechanism is away from the blade which makes blade changes safer.

I have two Grip-On knives and several old school Exacto Knives in my drawer. Since I first used the Grip-On knives I don't use the Exactos. When anyone borrows my blade they always want the Grip-On.

I have purchased several as gifts and they have all been appreciated.

If you have not tried this knife you should.

This knife came with a tube of standard #11 blades, not the assortment pictured.

This knife is much easier to control than the aluminum X-acto blade holder. The rubberized covering is comfortable and allows a good grip. The nut on the end of the knife does a good job of tightening the 4-jaw chuck on the blade. I'm very happy with this knife. And the inclusion of 5 #10 very good blades make it a bargain!

I bought this item so I could cut the sprues off of my plastic model kits. It works quite well, it's very sharp and feels well built. The color of the one I received is black. The grip is rubber but it doesn't compress too much when you apply pressure to it, so it's "soft" but not squishy.

This is a high quality cutting tool. The rubberized handle is very secure. I find this one much easier to work with than the more narrow, plain aluminum or steel handles.

I like the rubber grip. Having the knob for the blade holder in the back makes a lot of sense, and much easier to change blades.
