This review is from: Excel Saga 2 (Audio CD)
The second Excel Saga soundtrack is not as much fun as the first. Predictably, of course, it contains many themes that were not quite exciting enough to be included to the original soundtrack. One disappointment for me is that the wild rock guitar bits from the 'Key' episode weren't on this one, either--let alone the actual songs. The only vocal selection on the CD is the extended version of Menchi's Bolero of Regret.

But if you're a fan of the series, this should neatly round out your soundtrack collection. It contains the Ropponmatsu themes, the dating game soundtrack, the themes from Menchi's Great Adventures and a few other nice tracks among the leftovers.
