I had been looking for a quality strainer for some time. This one is a nice quality, large mesh strainer. I love the little feet that allow it to stand alone and it is designed to reach across a 10" plus bowl or pan. Other nice features are the wide rim surrounding the basket, sturdy wire mesh and the metal handle (no more melted plastic). Good price too.

The quality of this strainer is really good. It's strong and well made. It's bit smaller than I thought. If you plan to wash veggies in it for salad, then you will need a bigger size. This strainer is only good for fruits. It doesn't hold too much.

Needed a new strainer and bought two of these. A 9 inch and a complementary 6 inch. love them to death they are exactly what I was looking for.

i was a little leery of this strainer because of it's affordability and am very satisfied with it. the handle isn't too long, it has a hook on the opposite end to hang it across a bowl or pot, it shows no signs of rust, and is dishwasher safe. it's best feature is it's little feet. it has never tipped over. will recommend.

I purchased this item in order to reach the $25 minumum purchase for free shipping and I did have a need for it. I like how sturdy it is with out it being to heavy. Although it may not be large enough for all of my needs it's small enough that finding a spot in my kitchen wasn't hard. I love the fact that it can stand on it's own and sometimes I just leave the fruit in the basket and put it all in my fridge rather than using a bowl. I would definately purchase again.

Very sturdy and well put together. After watching 3 plastic rimmed ones either break, fall apart, or melt in the dishwasher....I decided it was time for a good strainer. Very pleased. Think I will need to get the larger size too :)

This is a good little strainer. It's a good size- perfect for straining cans of beans, or small amounts of pasta (think a third to a half of a 1 pound box).

I've been using it for about a month, and it seems to be well built. I like the little feet that it has so it can rest on the bottom of the sink or on the counter. The handle isn't super comfortable, but the strainer isn't big enough to hold anything heavy, so it's not really an issue.

The one bad thing I've found with this strainer is around the edge, where the round frame meets the metal mesh. Little bits of food get caught it in, so you have to make sure to wash it out really well right away, and not to let the food dry there. If it does get dried in there it would be really hard to get out since it's not accessible with a sponge or even fingers.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and expect to be using this product for years to come.

This strainer is very nice quality and I love the features, such as the fine opening, and the hanging hook. We use it to make cheese, and it serves its purpose very well. It is nice that we can hang it over our pan and strain out excess liquid effectively without losing solids. I love it for washing fruit and lettuce, as well, and for straining fruit juice. It was a nice investment. It's also very easy to clean.
