We've had this bottle opener for a year now. It opens every beer bottle with ease, it has a nice hefty weight to it, and it's easier to use than the little bottle opener thingy on our can opener. I took two 3/4" round magnets and stuck them on this Excellante bottle opener, and then to the side of the fridge where my husband always knows to find it (so he doesn't have to go searching through my cluttered kitchen utensil drawers). When we pull the bottle opener off the fridge, the magnets always release from the fridge and stay stuck fast to this bottle opener, even though the magnets aren't glued to the opener. It's an easy way to store it and it's quite unobtrusive on the side of the fridge.I like this opener, it's no frills, no decoration or printing on it. It's going to last years and years. In the unlikely event that it doesn't, I'll update this review. =) |
