I hesitated to buy this item based on the negative reviews, but I took a chance, and I'm glad I did. I think this is a great high chair. The wood is smooth and non-splintery, the pieces fit together well, and, while the directions weren't crystal-clear, I thought the chair was fairly easy to assemble. I find it quite sturdy and stable, and my children love it. If you're looking for a restaurant-style high chair, this is most likely the best deal you will find. Plus, it's a good-looking piece of furniture.

This chair is high quality (or at least as high quality as any restaurant high chair) and easy to assemble. I think that most of the complaints out there have to do with poor assembly. Basically if you have ever assembled an Ikea piece of furniture this will be cake. The secret is not to fully tighten all of the screws until they are all in place- I have learned this lesson from much frustration over the years. Anyway- exactly what I wanted- a restaurant style chair for a low price and free shipping!

I have a similar high chair to this at home and love it. I bought this for my parents to use when my child visits them. The quality is quite poor. It is not sturdy like mine. It does not fit together well. I am concerned it may be dangerous as it does not seem stable. I had to return it. I do not recommend this high chair. If you like the style they can be bought from restaurant warehouses, for the same price, only better quality.

these highchairs are not built very good at all, they dont line up. the hardware doesnt hold together, had to drill with screws just to keep together. the straps have broken on all 3. i have had a lot of problems. i would not buy these ever again.i was very disappointed.

I actually had to return the high chair, as there were several defects. There were cracks in the wood, rough spots that should have been better sanded and inconsistencies and haziness in the finish.

This is a great chair. I've gone through one high chair (one that has cost 5 times as much), and two boosters. I hated cleaning up after my messy children, and having to take the past chairs apart to get to all the pieces of food. This chair makes clean up an ease. I intended to get it for my one year old, but his older sister who is almost three claimed it as hers. I've looked through many sites and found similar chairs costing twice as much (without shipping). You can't beat the price! One small gripe I have with the chair is the color, it's more of a cherry in color. But I've overlooked the color because it has made our lives much easier.

We ordered 4 of these high chairs to use at our church. The price was great and the quality was outstanding. They were easy to assemble. Would highly recommend.

We never liked our standard high chair. Our child did much better in restaurant style high chairs so we purchased this one and he feels more a part of the family since he is right up to the table. Sturdy construction. Only concern is that the seat belt does not always hold him down into chair.

I had previously purchased this type of high chair for my Grandson, he enjoys it so much, that when we had a dinner at church, realizing that that there were no highchairs for children, we they purchased 2 for the church, every Sunday we get compliments on them. They are well made, easy to assemble, arrived in excellent time. We are very pleased with our purchase of the thunder group walnut high chairs. Thanks

My son does not like the confinement of the 5 point harness while he eats - this chair is the perfect solution. We love it! Great quality - very sturdy.
