Ashley Baldwin, a young aspiring surgeon, has always done things by the book. She is afraid of love, is recovering from a life-altering experience, and is focused on her future goals. Erik Halstein, a foreign exchange student, is a young hopeful trying to make it to the Olympics. As fate has it, Ashley and Erik meet when they least expect it. "The Exchange" by Abby M. Hunter is a lovely tale. It is the story of Ashley and Erik who are from different countries and who meet during the summer. There is an instant attraction, and they connect on all levels possible. When the summer ends, they part but their love continues. They carry on with their original plans for themselves, while remaining in touch with each other. The reader sees how Ashley and Erik grow to become the people that they have always wanted to be.

I felt a real connection to the characters from the begining of the book. Alot of real life issues that we can all relate to. Very heartwarming with creative twists. I would recommend this to all!!
