As the previous reviewer said, this wall sconce is really just a glorified night light. Not just dim, but a sort of weird blue light, besides. I was really happy to have found this, with such an easy installation. And the fixture itself looks so nice, with good quality glass, so it's really a shame that it has such a poor, non-interchangeable, light source.

These lights were exactly what we expected. The picture is incorrect. The model # for the sconces is correct but the picture should be white. They were easy to assemble and hang. The remote changes the color with the push of a button. Very classy looking.

This is a very nice looking sconce. The light is not very bright at all. I wanted to put it in a small hallway with no lighting. It is at best a fancy night light. Also, it was not remote controlled.
I want to add I ordered 2. One came broken(the glass shade) in the full packaging. I ordered a replacement. That one came broken also. I don't think the packaging is adequate to protect the shade.

Aftr reading the other reviews, we purchased two of these for our dining room. They are very classy looking and put out the light we were expecting. They will not light a room but are great accent lighting. The light is very white and if you want to match an incandescent bulb, you will be not be happy.

This item is very nice for the price... and in terms of brightness its a great accent light but like mentioned in other reviews is not for lighting a room.

I bought a pair to illuminate corners in our family room. The wall sconces are beautiful in appearance. However as for the light output they are not worth the money. You are paying for the frosted globes which are pretty to look at only. The sconces themselves, I think are cheaply made especially the battery pack. I have had night lights brighter than the sconces. It is good to use if you just want to use as a night light to give an area minimal low light. Do not buy to illuminate a dim room. It barely gives enought light to light up the sconce through the thick glass.

I looked for a battery operated wall sconce for a long time. Finally I chose this one and I am very happy with it. Hangs in our hallway. Gives just enough light to change the thermostat and gives a glow to our wall of family pics. Shortly after we hung it, the power went off for 2 hours. Handy!! Hope the bulb lasts a long while as it is a funky one.

Hi This product was pretty cool - a little fragile though as it came broken. The seller refunded my money quickly so all was well.

Requires three AA batteries which come with it. It didn't say that ANYWHERE when we were looking at them.
