This ghetto blaster will turn heads. It will get you noticed. In some cases, it will even make you the life of the party / focus of attention. In hindsight, this is most likely because not many people own a ghetto blaster (not mant at all, actually), so seeing someone with one, whether they're walking or longboarding by, is pretty awesome.
I've had my Lasonic ghetto blaster for a few months now, and, believe it or not, it's an amazing conversation piece, and may have even earned me a friend or two. Dozens of people have asked me, "Woah, where'd you get that thing?" Even more will come up to you and jam out. Longboarding, skateboarding, rollerblading (the hardest part about rollerblading is telling your parents you're gay), or even biking (not quite sure how you'd bike around with this, but I guess anything is possible) around the block or school campus will have people waving at you and nodding in agreement. As I said, great investment.
Anyways, here's a list (for convenience).
-All around awesome
-Good music quality (works best with your iPod/iPhone plugged directly in, AUX cable doesn't sound quite as good) and great volume
-It has a handle, which helps a lot
-Can use batteries as well as a power chord
-Might get you laid
-Very heavy, and can be a pain to carry around for extended periods of time
-The handle's great and all, but it would be nie to have a grip on it. The hard plastic can be uncomfortable
-It has some cheapy stickers on it, most of which serve as fake buttons and such.Read more ›
The i-931X will not disappoint. It has all the flare from back in the day. I will try to collect the various different theme colors that are available right now.
I've shown it to both young and older people and they just love the look and also the plus side that we can connect an iPod or iTouch with it. Plus the USB and SD/MMC is just a bonus.

The boom box is a great idea but the iPod/iphone connection is constantly disconnecting or not working correctly. The battery function has completely stopped working also. Read morePublished on May 7, 2013 by Bill

It's cheap and looks cool. Doesn't sound nearly as good or work as well as the TDK boombox but it's much cheaper and looks cooler IMO. Read morePublished on February 7, 2013 by Timato
