From a parent's perspective this is a cool lego toy; some intricate details and good to build. However, there's not too much play factor when assembled. The droids are tiny and difficult to get to stand. The spider droid also is difficult to stand/walk unless you position the legs just so. It would be nice if there were some kind of hinge to allow the figures inside the spider droid when assembled, but alas no.

So, it was fun to build this toy. Once built, my son got about an hour's worth of play before getting bored. Now he just plays with his Commander Cody figure. V. expensive toy for 2 hours worth of play.

Finally, the price here is extortionate. I got it at TRU (which is not the cheapest store either!) for $35.

The spider droid is a good set because of the veriety of figures and the importence of having a spider droid in a droid army. This set looks cool but the legs are a little rickity but they hold up well enough.

this set is a great edition to any army because of the minifigures and the powerful spider droid, get it now!!

My 8 year old grandson LOVES this set. One of his favorites. Great minifigures, fun to assemble, teaches how to follow directions, helps to develop spacial abilities, and a super fun project to do together.

I bought this set because I wanted the cool figures (especially Commander Fox) and the Spider Droid for my Lego collection. This set comes with one normal clone trooper figure that has a printed head, torso, and helmet. He is equipped with a short blaster. In addition to the clone trooper this set comes with one extremely cool Commander Fox figure that has a normal printed head but a special printed torso and helmet. He is equipped with gray commander gear and pistols. This set also comes with on one standard Battle Droid figure and one Battle Droid Commander figure that is standard except he has a yellow torso. Both of the Droids are equipped with short blasters. This set also comes with one standard Super Battle Droid figure. The Spider Droid itself is a very enjoyable build and when finished it looks very big and intimidating. The Spider Droid is equipped with two blaster cannons, one on the top of the droid that rotates, and one on the bottom of the droid that moves up and down. Well, here are the basics of the set:

Over all, I highly recommend this set.

i bought this set a year ago wow its 125 now i returned it and kept fox he is o.g.

Good: the durability, mine fell 3-4 feet and landed on it's top....was still in one piece.
Bad: Unsteady legs, guns attached to too short flexible connectors
