Product Description

Cubicle-dwelling business people the world over have been knowingly nodding, faithfully push-pinning their favorite strips to their cube walls, and--most of all--belly laughing out loud ever since Dilbert first arrived on the scene. In this collection, Excuse Me While I Wag, Dilbert and his look-alike dog, Dogbert, once again provide comic relief to anyone who has ever had to inhabit a cubicle, endure an "initiative of the week," or simply work in an office that has, on occasion, caused them to pull out large clumps of their hair. Scott Adams' dead-on humor in Excuse Me While I Wag is sure to satisfy the hordes of fans worldwide who avidly follow the misadventures of Dilbert, Dogbert, Catbert, Ratbert, the pointy-haired boss, and the rest of the cast of characters in Dilbert's world--a world that's eerily like the one we work in daily.

About the Author

Scott Adams was born in Windham, NY, and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1979. Scott has won multiple National Cartoonists Society Awards, and the Dilbert strip has received a Harvey Award and won the Max and Moritz Prize as best international comic strip.

4.0 out of 5 stars Par for the course., June 1, 2003

All Dilbert books are funny. This one is no exception.

Some Dilbert books are funnier than others. This one is pretty much a mid-range Dilbert book; it was definitely better than some, but I didn't find myself rolling on the floor laughing as I sometimes do with some others. (Unless, of course, I'm just getting jaded, which is possible; after seventeen books, the style of humor is no longer as startling as it once was.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Cross-Populated? Excuse Me While I Wag..., February 14, 2002

Hi, I'm Dogbert, and I'll be reviewing this book for you.

"Wouldn't that be like paying a burglar to guard my house?"

Excuse me while I wag. Anyway, if you don't believe that this is a good book, then perhaps I can convince you with some impressive words, "Syncrhonized incremental digital integrated dynamic e-commerce space."

As for cross-population, many of the strips in "Treasury of Sunday Strips" are in this book, but there's still enough stuff not in other books to make this book worthwhile. Read over the sample pages, or just take my advice. After all, (hypnotic tone) I'm not self-interested, I'm not self-interested...

5.0 out of 5 stars More Great Humor, April 17, 2001
This book is the smaller 128 page (no color) book which contains strips from 07/26/99 to 04/30/00. It contains Scott Adam's usual brand of sarcasm, work-place humor, computer nerd humor, etc. Certainly a fine addition to your Dilbert collection.
