Executing Strategy: From Boardroom to Frontline is an outstanding book. The authors do a spectacular job of helping the reader understand all of the dynamics behind executing strategy. The book has served as a "Must Read" for all of our high potential employees.

If you only have time to read just one book this year, this should - must be that book. 'Executing Strategy' is the roadmap to efficiency and corporate growth. Read it, apply it and watch your company change in ways you cannot imagine.

This book is a winner! It's a playbook that will help any organization execute their business strategy more effectively. What resonated the most with me was the strategy map, the handoff process from senior to middle to line management, and linking development of leaders and managers to strategy. When these and other challenges are successfully addressed, the result is a high performance organization.

Gary Casselman and Tim Daughtry have written a terrific guide to the proverbial "flawless execution" that so many of us aspire to and so few of us actually achieve. This is the stuff that doesn't get taught in our colleges of business or in most corporate training programs... and yet it's the true operational content of leadership at all levels. I don't know about you, but I generally find most books about business to be pretty thin fare. Those that I can truly say I've learned something from are few and far between... and I tend to read them more than once. "Executing Strategy" is definitely in that multiple-read category.

EXECUTING STRATEGY helped our company focus on what we can do to survive this economy. We are working on new business models and this book showed us how to organize our top managers, build their personal leadership skills, and communicate our strategic message all down the management line. We've already implemented a number of our strategies and are now ready for more. I highly recommend EXECUTING STRATEGY.
