Dick Cady is a former Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for the Indianapolis Star, Detroit News and Newsday. In the 1970s he was arrested for bribery as part of a frame-up during an investigation of police corruption. He also was assistant director of the "Arizona Project," an investigation of corruption and land fraud in Arizona following the murder of reporter Don Bolles. Cady's books include "The Executioner's Mask" (mystery), "Champions" (novel), "Deadline: Indianapolis" (memoir), and "Scavengers: A True Story of Money, Madness and Murder" (true crime). He lives in Indianapolis.
