4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Thrash, March 4, 2009
By Fred Rayworth (Las Vegas, NV United States) - See all my reviews
Picked this up in a record store in Spain in the mid 80's, based on the cover alone. I guess these guys were the best thing since sliced bread to come from the Canadian thrash scene. The music reminded me of Anthrax and Slayer and though not particularly remarkable, it is still good. I burned it to cassette tape and used to play it on my commute to work in Spain. Haven't listened to it in 20 years but just burned it to a CD to play on my even longer commute to work in Las Vegas. The first two and last two songs I like the best. On a few of them amid the middle tracks, the song is so fast, it sounds like the singer is having trouble keeping up with the lyrics. Fast for the sake of being fast is not my thing, but these guys keep it together for the most part, and do it very well. Recommended for thrash fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars POSEURS AND NEWCOMERS: FEAR THE GATECRASHER!, May 3, 2003
Well, I've been a fan of these guys for some time now and all I can say is this: If you don't already own this and you're looking here, most likely you wont enjoy this release. I say this because heavy metal isn't for the general public and this album most certainly does not appeal to greenpeace promoters or people who have recently been introduced to metal. If you're looking for something with a beat, look in the "disco" and "techno" sections.
