Product Description

Case-it produces quality binders offering unique organizational tools for school or home use. The Case-it Executive Zippered Padfolio with Removable 3-Ring Binder and Letter Size Writing Pad, like all of Case-it's binders and padfolios, uses Kraft board instead of PE board to give its binders a firm, stiff shape that won't buckle or warp. This stylish black zippered padfolio with handle contains many organizational features ideal for any business man or woman. On the inside of the front cover are dedicated slots for pens, pencils, credit cards or business cards. Also included are document pockets for important files or materials and an accessory pocket for personal items. Take meeting notes on the included writing pad or removable 3-ring binder. On the outside is a sturdy handle for easy transportation.

Customer Reviews

The padfolio is made from a very durable outer material.
Alba
The binder has ample room to carry pens and pencils in a 4" pocket inside as well with an elastic stretch retainer to keep the pens and pencils in place.

I can carry everything I need in it and it is not to big or too small.

My requirements when I went searching for a portfolio:
1. 3-Ring binder. I'm using this for a custom day planner.
2. Two pen holders. I use a pen and pencil in my work, so I needed two easily accessible slots.
3. Under $80.
4. Not a giant college student 6,000 pocket binder or pretentious leather CEO portfolio.

This one was perfect. Met all the requirements when I found few others that did. Even over $150 it was hard to find something that I could actually use. I bought it for the 3-Ring Binder and will not be removing it. So I was concerned that bit would slip out and be annoying, since it is removable. But it's fairly snug in there and gives me no problems. It's a bit of a snug fit inside my Timbuk2 messenger bag along with my laptop, charger & mouse. But it's probably just time for me to upgrade that bag to something a little bigger. And I doubt any other portfolio would fit much better.

I've had it for over a month now. It's sturdy, the material is strong, the zipper seems quality. And I'd buy it again if in the unfortunate case that it gets trampled by a wild rhinoceros herd or something.

For my Career Development Class we had to put together a Portfolio that we can take to job interviews. I shopped around my local office supplies stores (Office Depot and Staples) and the Portfolios were three times the price of this one. I like it, very simple no strange calculator pocket. A sleeve for business cards and two bigger sleeves for and loose papers. The outside doesn't have any big logos so it keeps a clean professional look.

This is very high quality binder, protects my paper great! However, the thickness should probably be increased a little bit accommodate the extra pad of legal paper that comes in the back as well as any pens, etc, you might want to place in any of the multiple pockets inside the front cover. If you use the one inch rings to their max like I do, it will be a bit tight. Overall very nice. I got this to fit job protocols in my purse (yea it's the size of a diaper bag, leave me alone), and it fits nicely. Just make sure it's actually big enough for your purposes!

This case fits my ipad to the left, monthly calender to the right (take out the rings), has a zipper, two spots for pencils. Great case for today's needs. I know this is a brief comment, but I stand behind every word and highly recommend it.

I've gone through about a dozen different cases like this over the last few years. I do a lot of meetings outside the office and need to take file folders of documents with me. This is the first one I've found that will actually let you put some folders in a pocket and not have them get mangled when the accordion flaps fold in. Can't comment on the three-ring binder part, I have no use for it and removed it immediately. Seems well-made and rugged enough.

UPDATE: After living with the case for a couple months, I've come to really dislike the way it won't lay completely flat on the table while in use. Other than that it's great, but I'll be continuing my hunt for the perfect pad folio ...

I really took my time to look for the perfect combination, and was somewhat dissapointed, (but not at all surprised) to find the only acceptable product to be available only in the US. The delivery and taxes to Hungary almost doubled the prices, but you got to pay for your satisfaction so no problem with that.
I really appreciate the manufacturers attention to detail, considering the needs of any possible customer - a quality for which Samsonite was once renowned...
The reason why I have chosen it was, that it has a notepad, a removable binder, pen/pencil holders and a handle which retracts and therefore makes it fit into european standard cabin luggugages.
The outer material highly overachieved my expectations, in an extent that I would really recommend uploading a better picture. The materials on the inside are also fine.
And here comes the BUT: the build quality and finish leaves something to be desired. The stitching is poor, however the smudges of glue would be the real dealbreaker in case I should decide to buy another one.
I could be the happiest customer if it wasnt for those imperfections, but all things considered, it would have been still a good purchase for the 30$, but now it's rather bitter-sweet...

I've been using this for a few weeks now and it seems like good quality. Doesn't stay open and flat on it's own... it must be held open or it will recoil shut. I use section dividers with plastic tabs and the zipper comes close enough to the paper that it hits the tabs as I'm zipping it up but I can adjust for that. Professional look.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting.

I'm doing a class in college that requires a "portfolio" that we can add things into. I got this, instructor pretty much laughed at me heh. If you need portfolios for college, I'd definitely recommend something wider. This is barely 1" wide if even a full inch.
