Ms. Lovelace usually writes frothy ridiculous novels that are the literary equivalent of cotton candy. This was par for the course, but not as good as her usual fare -- to stretch the metaphor, 3 day old cotton candy that someone should have chucked out instead of serving. This is the last in a three novel series, and by far the worst of that series. The first one is decent/fun. This one is worth a pass.
