Not a weight training manual!!!,

As a fairly new but ever eager student in the field of Early Modern military drill and tactics, I was told Exercise of Armes was a must. Indeed I've seen several other editions out there as well as being able to find all the illustrative plates online, so I was anxious after ordering. Upon receiving the thing in the mail though, I was happy to see over-sized and quality papered pages. The preface essay was instructive and the further readings recommended were heartily appreciated as I had not heard of several. All in all, a quality paperback worth every penny and a welcome addition to my Rennaisance Warfare library.
