5.0 out of 5 stars Beginners' Book
This is an excellent book especially for older people (I'm 60) who are out of shape, have joint or disc problems and need to start slow. My physical therapist told me to get this book after a minor accident caused muscle strains. The book starts with an easy warm-up and cool-down section, with safety tips, then core training, toning, stretching, and timed routines. It...

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't stand up well
I have several ball books. I got this one because it is supposed to stand up. I thought it would be good for my clients to be hands free while trying to remember the exercises they learned. The information and instruction is good but it falls down and is hard to get it to stand like it is supposed to. All of the exercises can be found in similar books. Don't pay extra for...

It offers exercises for every part of your body and includes an index listing individual exercises. It's spiral-bound and will sit upright so you can easily glance at the photos as you learn an exercise.

As a former exercise instructor, I really like this book. The pictures and descriptions are easy to follow. I also like the idea that the book sits on its own stand and can be used for reference while working out! The color-coded sections are easy to access and here's a bonus: an index for quick and easy reference.

The information and instruction is good but it falls down and is hard to get it to stand like it is supposed to. All of the exercises can be found in similar books. Don't pay extra for this one. You'll only get distracted by trying to get it to stand up. Get or make a small tripod for your regular books. It works better.
