A MUCH NEEDED TEXT,
By A Customer
This review is from: Radiographic Critique, 1e (Hardcover)
Our profession has needed a text such as this for a long time. The book contains very detailed information and practical tips on positioning most of the essential radiographs of the skeletal system. The drawings and patient photographs are very good. However, I was disappointed with the quality of a very large number of radiographs in the book as they are very overexposed. Nearly every radiograph in the spine chapter is quite black which does not present well to the student who is learning the fine points of positioning. Also, it would be nice to have chapters on IVU, GI, etc. to make this a complete critique book. Overall, the material in the text is well done and very useful to those of us who teach skeletal radiography. It is a nice companion text for the instructor who teaches positioning from Merrill's or Bontrager.
