So pleasantely surprised at the overall quality. Pros: Heavy metal frame intricately carved,to give it stability in the wind. Glass(yes glass)candle globes, very detailed and pretty. Overall size is bigger than you think with the tiers,chain length. Elegant design you can use both inside & outside. We plan to take it camping to hang under our pop-up awning/shade. Cons: The flickering candles are all set on the same circuit, so no individual flicker for each one. Candle color is fake looking, the color is a yucky yellowish shade, and is not very bright. Don't think this will give you any light to see by. NO choice of flicker on/off function, and it is set to come on at dusk & off at dawn. The manufacturer claims the battery life is 4 weeks of constant dusk/dawn cycle. Overall it is so dramatic and surprising that the item is definitely worth it.

i wanted something over my dining table under my pergala porch roof. PERFECT!! it was exposed to rain and heat. the batteries lasted over 3 months. it looked adorable. hated to take it down now that fall is here. lots of compliments to the point that i ordered another for a gift. (she has it hanging over her bathtub. really looks cute.) this is mood lighting!!!! and it is beautiful! seller was great.

I love the look and size of this chandelier. I purchased for a gazebo outside. It doesn't provide a whole lot of light, but enough that you can eat outside and know what you are putting in your mouth.

This battery operated chandelier is just what we were looking for for our patio. We didn't want to have to hook up an electrical cord, so this fit the bill. The chandelier, although made in China (where else) appears well made. It's metal, and the globes are glass. Here's what I don't like about it:

1) The chandelier goes on at dusk, and stays on for only four hours. I wish it had an option for longer, say six hours, or even from dusk to dawn. Another reviewer states that it goes on and stays on til dawn, but this is not the case. In order to make it stay on longer than four hours, you'd have to turn it off and turn it back on. But the on/off switch is located at the top of the chandelier, and I don't know about you, but if I've been partying for more than four hours, I'm not wanting to drag out a step-stool to turn the light back on. A remote would be nice, but at this price, I wouldn't expect it.

2) The glass globes are not removable, and neither are the "candles." So if one globe breaks, or one candle goes out, there's no replacing them, as everything is hard-wired.

Overall, I'm glad we bought this item. Looks good and adds to the overall ambiance of our outside pool and patio area.

Chandelier is cute, however, it does not put off very much light. Would be nice to buy two and hang in the same area to create a more eye catching look, since it is not that large so therefore not that dramatic.

I was very impressed by this item, and it was very easy to install (no wiring)! I hung it over my toilet in the bathroom, and I get compliments on it all the time. The only downside would be that the on/off switch is on the very top, so I am forced to keep it on all the time, but the batteries have lasted a long time (and it goes off and on periodically). Highly recommend!

this chandelier looks so pretty but if you are looking for a lot of light you are not going to get it with this. It is a very dim amber light. It turns on automatically at dusk just like it says and turns off 4 hours later, which I love. I have gotten so many compliments on it. If you are looking for the ambiance of a chandelier this is a good pick.

I GOT THIS OFF QVC YEARS AGO AND IT SOLD OUT, ALL MY HOUSE GUESTS GUSHED OVER IT AND WAS SO HAPPY I FOUND IT HERE ON AMAZON, I ORDER 4 MORE AND BACK FOR MORE!

The lights in this chandelier are very dim. So dim that even if you were to hold a book up right next to one of the flickering faux candles, you wouldn't have enough light to read. Don't buy this if you're looking for illumination... but if you're just looking for decoration, it does the trick. We hung it from the gazebo near our pool, and it turns on automatically every night at dusk and stays on for a couple hours. The only thing I would change would be that I wish the lights would flicker at different rates. Instead, they all flicker in unison, which makes their "fauxness" pretty obvious. Still, for the money, what can you expect?
