Versachem Exhaust System Repair
Bought it to patch a pipe break temporarily, until we could get the car into the shop for an exhaust system replacement (big bucks). The tape is of good quality, and it sticks to anything. It is fairly easy to handle. The only warning I give is that is does not hold up at all under conditions of vibration. If you are going to cover a hole in a muffler or catalytic...

Disappointed
Wanted black tape for a custom project and pic shows it's silver..wrote company about issue and no response. Poor customer service.

Bought it to patch a pipe break temporarily, until we could get the car into the shop for an exhaust system replacement (big bucks). The tape is of good quality, and it sticks to anything. It is fairly easy to handle. The only warning I give is that is does not hold up at all under conditions of vibration. If you are going to cover a hole in a muffler or catalytic converter, this stuff will probably work out well for you. I used it to wrap around a severed pipe (inlet to the converter). On the first day after application, the tape sheared due to vibration. Not really a problem with the tape; it just wasn't designed to withstand vibration. So, keep that in mind.
