I received an Exide battery that has the same label, same basic information - but only has a single pair of posts - and they are in the middle of the left and right sides respectively. This does three things for me -

1. I can't use my current battery mount to hold the battery in place as the strap goes accross the middle.
2. My plan to clean up my accessories wired to the battery with extra terminals is not possible.
3. I cannot return this item.

TLDR: this is NOT the 4 post battery pictured.

This seems to be a good battery, I put it in an 84 CJ7 as the starting battery and it has plenty of power to turn the motor over. The only real drawback (and it may not matter to most people) is it does NOT have two sets of top post terminals like the picture shows, it has one set of top post terminals and one set of side post terminals. Packing was solid with a heavy cardboard box and packing material but was not overkill or wasteful.

I bought this battery for a battery backup for my aquarium. It hooks up to a 1,100w MSW inverter for when I have long power outages.

So far, so good. I ran a test on this battery and I can get about 2.5-3 days backup out of it, which works out to be about 50Ah at that rate. This battery spends most of its time on a Battery Tender waiting for an emergency. The value of this battery is unparalleled, with Prime shipping, you get this thing shipped 2 days for free.. which means you get the battery for what many sellers want to simply SHIP a battery to you. Definitely a great value. Haven't used the reserve capacity yet or anything like that, but for my purposes, it works just fine. I am probably going to pick up another so I can either create a basic grid or have one to power the equipment and one to charge at work.. provided they still have power. Haha.

The reviews are correct, this battery is incorrectly pictured. This was not an issue, as I only needed the one set of terminals, but just pointing that out for other readers.

So far the battery is doing it's job. I have it connected to a travel trailer. I really wanted a true deep cell battery. This one is a hybrid.

Update: battery went dead after 7 months of use, but seems to be working now. Still haven't figured out what caused it to go dead.

I bought it about 6 years and 10 months ago. Was going for an Optima but couldn't find one in town that had the proper terminal position for my truck. Got the Orbital instead. After having it for about 2.5 years I rear-ended someone at about 40-45mph (not so smart moment). Totaled my truck (10k payout) and the bulk of the load went to the corner where the battery was (front driver side right behind the headlight). The battery took such a big load that it left a full-on battery case indention in the apron (apron is Toyota's term, think of the sheet-metal that makes the inner wheel-well). Behind the battery was the fuse box, and behind farther was a emission black box. The fuse box was destroyed and the black box had a few fracture lines, which came from the battery impacting them in a series. A battery is definitely more stout than those parts, but just mentioning.

While technically my battery isn't dead yet (same vehicle, made it pretty again), a half hour of radio drains it to where it has trouble starting. But it's still going. My Tacoma has 188k on it now, I suppose it is possible my alternator brushes wore to the point it wont charge, but I doubt it. In the next week I'm going to find somewhere nearby that sells them and grab another. As said in the title, sure as hell buying another.
